Halifax, NS — April 16, 2007: On the high heels of last year’s success, Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa and Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa are re-launching the Desperate Housewives Getaway Weekend.
“Last year’s getaway was a big hit with lots of rave reviews,” said Sandie Currie, Area Director of Marketing for Nova Scotia Signature Resorts. “It’s a perfect retreat – a way to escape the drama of our everyday lives.”
From May 4 to May 6, Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa is offering a package including a luxurious room, succulent meals and lots of time to relax and rejuvenate. For $275, per person based on double occupancy plus tax, the package includes ladies’ choice of culinary and wine seminars, golf lessons and spa treatments. Breakfast is included along with an opening reception and a four-course gourmet meal, karaoke, and a Frenchy’s fashion show.
From June 1 to June 3, Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa wants you to be the envy of other housewives with a cocktail reception, a bonfire under the moonlight, a guided hike, fitness classes, a spa gift certificate and decadent meals. All guests will receive a $25 gift certificate from Smart Shop Place and one lucky person will win a $500 shopping spree.
