Life at Keltic Lodge – There’s No “I” in TEAM
Tuesday, July 31st, 2012
Life at the Keltic Lodge is something very special to me and my family. I would like to share what brings guests back to this amazing property year after year.
It’s the people that make us the best in our business. Today alone, I had two guests tell me how lucky we are to have the team we do. Since taking over as General Manager, I have created a “get to know your team” wall in our staff area that has questions about and pictures of each colleague. Time and time again, our staff and guests enjoy their time at Keltic Lodge because of the people.

It’s peak period at Keltic Lodge which means we employ just over 150 people. Each employee cares about their job and they all show amazing passion.
This weekend my lovely wife, Monika of Pash Photography, had the privilege of documenting Norah and Steve’s wedding which was a stunning day. Norah and Steve brought their own amazing energy to the Keltic Lodge with their friends and family from all over. Norah made a point to express how important my team was to her and how these people contributed to the success of their special day.
I would like to personally say that Matt, Matt, Justin and Rob certainly deserve the accolades that Norah and Steve offered. You can see from their smiles and demeanor that these four lads are amazing individuals and are just a few faces amongst the vast majority that deserve a pat on their backs. I always do my very best to thank each member of my team and I certainly encourage travelers, locals or colleagues to stop and appreciate our team whenever you experience their warm hospitality.
As a small sampling from all corners of our Keltic Lodge, I want to give thanks to Liam, Sabrina, Katie, Pat, Mykel, Maggie, Delia, Sandy, Deb, Joel, Chef, Sally, Brandon, Kayla, Beth, Carol, Justin, Jill, Ashley, Keith, Art and the 22 Matt(s) that make this team a family! Great Job!!!!

With only 97 days left until we start preparing for winter; don’t wait to enjoy Life at the Keltic. Our team is always evolving, but today it is exceptional! Come say hi to the 2012 Keltic team today.
Until next time,
Matthew Mackenzie
